Located on the north west tip of the Dingle Peninsular, this is Ireland’s most westerly golf course, often referred to as Dingle after the nearest town. Designed by Eddie Hacket and Christy O’Connor Jr. , it opened for play in 1972 although it has the feel of a course that has been around much longer.

Built over low dunes, with a burn – stream, meandering around and through 10 holes, nobody suggests it is the challenge of some of its more famous neighbors, it is none the less a delightful challenge enhanced by views over Dingle Bay and the surrounding mountains.

The drive to the course, alongside Dingle Bay passing by Inch beach is a great travel experience in itself, especially if you return via Dingle town and then over the Conair Pass between the Brandon and Stradbally Mountains.
