Designed by ex European tour pros, Neil Coles and Angel Gallardo, PGA de Cataluna opened for play in 1999. It has since hosted a number of major tournaments including the Gene Sarazen World Open in 1999 and the 2000 Peugeot Spanish Open making it the only course ever to have hosted two European tour events just 10 months after opening. It is now ranked in the top 10 of European Golf courses by Golf World and 4th in Spain following Valderrama, El Saler and Sotogrande.

Located under an hours drive north of Barcelona, set against a backdrop of the Montseny mountains, in magnificent woodland this is a tough course. Rolling, hilly fairways, well guarded, sculptured greens and several lakes all make this quite a challenge.

Our advice is to play it from a golf buggy and choose from the 5 sets of tees for a length of course that best suits your group.
